Ciao Bella!

DSC_0006
Anna, an Italian art student studying in London, was on her way to meet a friend for a bike ride down to the Seven Sisters in Brighton (don't worry, they took the train!)

Anna loves cycling in London but doesn't fear cycling on the roads amongst the cars and buses.
"I don't know why, maybe because I come from quite a sporty background and have road confidence. It's a shame that a lot of girls my age fear cycling on the roads in London. I absolutely love it as it gives me that sense of independence!"

Keeping it simple and comfortable in a breezy top and tailored shorts. Bellissima!

Catching Up With Londoners - Bethany

DSC_0001
As I was coming out of London Bridge Rail Station it took me two minutes to spot a glimpse of Cycle Chic in the corner of my eye. Yes London! You have NOT disappointed me! So I rushed over to say hi to our first London Cycle Chic profile of 2013.

Working the chilled summer look, Bethany opted for a long yet light floral skirt with a strapless top. Finishing the look with rounded oversized sunglasses. Bethany is the epitome of a cycle chick as not only does she commute daily by bike but she also enjoys cycling challenges like her recent bike trip from Rome to London. Although she may have left the skirt at home for that... DSC_0003
Bethany loves to cycle in London. It's one of the largest cities in the world but as soon as she hops on her bike "everything suddenly seems like round the corner."

She has high hopes that London will become more cycle-friendly and wishes to see more women cycling!

Thanks Beth for showing us how it's done!
