Commuter hustle bustle cycle chic

IMG_8795

This is the view from the Yorkshire Grey pub, home of Street Talks, the monthly drink tank on all things liveable and urban.  The view from the pub is astonishing - the bustle and grind of Theobalds Road unfolds beneath you and there's no escaping just how many cyclists use this route as they hurry back to the cycle-friendly enclaves of the East End.

And who said you need to get all dressed up in biking clothes just to commute?  It's all about dressing for the destination, not the journey, right?

There's no reason why EVERY road in London couldn't look like this, if only conditions were right...
